Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Open Canvas Collective LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information when people use LawnOps, including the LawnOps mobile app, web pages, quote links, payment links, and related services.
Who Uses LawnOps
LawnOps is built for lawn care businesses and their invited admins, office users, crew members, and customers. The app is not intended for public self-service use without an invitation or company relationship.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate LawnOps and support lawn care business workflows, including:
- Account information, such as name, email address, phone number, company name, role, invite status, and login details.
- Business information, such as company settings, service areas, routes, schedules, crew assignments, services, pricing, and job history.
- Customer information entered by a lawn care business, such as customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, notes, quote requests, service preferences, and billing details.
- Payment-related information, such as invoice amounts, payment request status, payment provider identifiers, transaction metadata, receipts, and payment links.
- Communications information, such as app invites, quote messages, service reminders, invoice updates, payment messages, support requests, and SMS opt-in or opt-out status.
- Device, location, and usage information, such as app version, device type, operating system, push notification tokens, diagnostic logs, crash reports, feature usage, location used for route maps or weather, and approximate technical information needed to secure and improve the service.
Payments
LawnOps may help businesses create and send payment links, track payment status, or connect a payment provider. Payment card details are handled by payment processors such as Stripe. We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers in LawnOps. We may store payment amounts, customer references, payment status, provider identifiers, receipt details, and related metadata so businesses can manage their work and collections.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve LawnOps. This includes:
- Creating, verifying, and managing invited user accounts.
- Managing routes, crews, schedules, jobs, customers, quotes, invoices, payment requests, and business reporting.
- Sending transactional messages such as app invites, quote links, route updates, service reminders, secure payment links, and invoice updates.
- Responding to support requests, troubleshooting issues, preventing abuse, and maintaining service reliability.
- Improving product features, performance, security, and user experience.
SMS Consent and Mobile Numbers
SMS consent and mobile numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Users and customers may opt in to receive transactional and customer-care text messages from LawnOps or a lawn care business using LawnOps. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
We may use service providers to help deliver text messages and operate messaging features. Those providers are permitted to use mobile numbers only to provide services on our behalf and not for their own marketing.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate LawnOps, including:
- With the lawn care business that owns or manages the workspace where the information was entered.
- With invited admins, office users, and crew members according to their role and access permissions.
- With trusted service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, messaging, email, payment processing, diagnostics, analytics, maps, and support.
- With payment processors and financial service providers when a business uses integrated payment features.
- When required by law, legal process, or reasonable security needs.
- As part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
Advertising and Tracking
LawnOps is not designed to sell personal information or track users across other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising. If we add advertising or cross-app tracking in the future, we will update this policy and provide any required notices or choices.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide LawnOps, support business records, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. A lawn care business may keep customer and job records for its own operational, tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
Choices and Controls
Users can update certain account and workspace information in the app. Users may start account deletion in the LawnOps app from the account drawer or profile area. Users and customers may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or help with privacy choices. SMS recipients can reply STOP to unsubscribe from text messages.
Some records may need to be retained where required for security, legal, accounting, payment, dispute-resolution, or business-record purposes.
Account Deletion
Invited LawnOps users may start account deletion in the LawnOps app. In-app deletion removes the user's LawnOps login, user profile, push tokens, notification preferences, and account deletion request record. If your account belongs to a company workspace, some business records, customer records, job history, payment records, messages, and compliance records may be retained for the workspace owner or as required by law. Users may also contact us at the email address below for account deletion help.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to keep LawnOps protected and reliable.
Children's Privacy
LawnOps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to LawnOps, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of LawnOps after an update means the updated policy applies.
